If you are an expert, it’s possible that you do not really enjoy marketing or sales.?

The “look at me” elements of marketing online can seem like a low brow vanity project or just plain anxiety inducing.?
However, the truth is there are people out there in the world who you can help who desperately want to read your story.?
They have not met you yet and do not know about your expertise or that your solution exists.?
The insights you have into the challenges they face, how they can avoid these challenges …?
These are all invaluable learnings for them?
When you outline how a person like them can solve a problem they face, and achieve an outcome they desperately desire, it’s like salvation to some of them.?
But how can they know about you unless you put your advice and thoughts online????
And how do you share your story online effectively and efficiently??
First, you should identify who you help, and where they are.
Are they on Twitter? Are they on LinkedIn? Are they on YouTube??
What makes the perfect candidate for your solution? At what stage of the journey are they already at which gives them the perfect pre-conditions for success.

Next you should speak clearly to your audience about the challenges they face.
By resonating with their challenges, you make people feel heard.
If you do this effectively you’ll find they feel as though you are speaking directly to them.?
Third, outline your process to address these challenges in a regular way.
This means that your audience can see that there is a predictable system with structure that they can apply.?
In many cases, people are tired of trying many different things with random results.
If you can share a tried and tested process that works for people just like them, this is like balm on a wound, like water in the desert.?
Finally you can explain the destination and results clearly and how these results are predictable for the right audience following the right process.?
This means your ideal client can gain the full picture of how you work and what it entails and whether it will work for them.?
Then they can decide if they want to find out more about your services. ?
Don’t see sharing your story online as just audience building, posing, becoming an influencer or “look at me” tactics.?
Rather, sharing your story is about reaching the right people and genuinely helping them, even before they have paid you a single dollar.?
There are many people out there who WANT to read your story. So share it with them.?
