Is your Home Ready?
We can't let the first day of spring pass without talking about spring cleaning. Today we are sharing ways to ensure your home is ready for the summer months and warmer weather. As winter fades away, it's time to prepare the exterior of your home for the vibrant season of spring.
Start by inspecting your home's exterior for any damage caused by the winter weather, such as cracked paint, loose siding, or clogged gutters. Check seals around doors and windows for damage or rot. Repaint any areas that need touching up to protect your home from the spring showers ahead.

Next, focus on your outdoor space by cleaning up any debris that has accumulated over the winter months. Clean out your gutters, and beware of critters that may have found a home in the leaves in those winter months. Not only is the home itself important, but around your home is too! Inspect trees for any winter damage, trim back any overgrown bushes and plant new flowers or shrubs to add a pop of color to your yard. You may want to consider power washing your deck or patio to remove built-up dirt and grime, making it the perfect spot for outdoor gatherings.
Lastly, check your sprinkler system. Ensure that your sprinklers are working properly to water properly when the heat settles in and as you are checking that look into getting your AC serviced. You do not want to have a malfunctioning AC unit when things really heat up. With these simple steps, your home will be ready to embrace the beauty of spring and the heat of summer! If you are needing some guidance or a trusted contact to get some of your spring cleaning list done, give us a call, we are happy to point you in the right direction.
