Your help would be much appreciated (and perhaps you could win a prize!)

How’s your summer been??I’ve been hibernating and doing lots of decluttering (including unsubscribing from various spam emails and newsletters – that’s not a hint by the way ??),? so hopefully come September I’ll be back at it with more regular newsletters and podcast episodes with insight from nature.?

I would, however, love your support between now and then.?

To celebrate Can’t see the wood for the trees ’ 6th birthday, yes really, I’d like to develop a collage of trees that help people see the wood. And that’s where you come in – please send me a photograph of a tree that you love – or perhaps one that gives you comfort or grounding – that is, any tree that, now you think about it, helps you see the wood for the trees when you’re struggling.?I’ll then pull them all together and make a reference guide to help us see the wood for the trees when we’re struggling. You can send it via DM here on LinkedIn, or email it to me at [email protected] (not .com or .co.uk ).

This image of me all wrapped up warm was taken in winter 2019 at Avebury stone circle sitting under one of my favourite trees!

For the collage, it's definitely a case of the more trees the merrier, so do ask your friends and, as an extra incentive (as if you needed it ??), I’ll put all the trees in a raffle! The tree pulled at the end will win its contributor a free Landscaping Your Life (LYL) coaching session with me (in real life or virtual) for any time over the 3 months (and can be gifted to someone else if that’s what you’d prefer).?

To allow for those on holiday the closing date is 30th August 2024 although perhaps best to send it when you read my request to make sure your tree makes it into the collage and resulting guide – and the raffle too.?

Alison x?

PS: If this newsletter finds you at a crossroads, needing to turn a corner, or stuck between a rock and a hard place, whilst there are podcast episodes to help with all these eventualities and others too (see the Landscaping Your Life with Alison Smith podcast -Apple /Spotify ), don’t forget only one LYL coaching session is often needed to help reduce the overwhelm and give you the clarity you need. I have also found a super location for 1-2 day retreats at Pathgreen Glamping near Perth, Scotland so do get in touch if you think you’d benefit from some R&R and chilled time whilst releasing the blocks to living your best life and would like to find out more.?

PPS: Don’t forget too, my Your prescription for wellbeing journal (which is 2 this month!) – it’s a great means of keeping all those hints and tips that you know keep you confident, focused and motivated and yet you often forget when you’re lacking any of these. It includes some suggestions, some of my poems and plenty of blank templates to write a prescription for any mindset or outcome you’d like to write a personal prescription for.
