Websites, who needs one? What is a "reasonable" cost?
What is your biggest problem with your website?
What is stopping you fomr getting a website?
Would this idea help?
Will it work?
A website, all in, domain, application process, hosting, email, design, support, ready to use, pay for it from €200 exVAT a month over 2 years.
The knx-tech.ie project is going well, construction a bit slow in August. So I have time to look at the other areas of what I do.
I am a big fan of the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) voucher to help businesses over a year old to trade online. The idea is that they match your funds, euro for euro, up to €2.500, and it covers the full gambit of Digital marketing requirements. It is brilliant. But it can be scary. I know of a couple of prospects scared off by it. and that is before they have tried to complete the paperwork, or rather get the three quotes, handle the salespeople an try to figure out what they are trying to buy.
Even yesterday, I was asked why was an IT company charging every time they were contacted. The charges were not unreasonable, just every conversation involved a bill, for the simplest things.
So, it was suggested that I do it as a managed service! A service fee for two years.
“The beauty is, I handle it all!”
Your Single Point of Contact, ME!
The theme is how the website looks, sitting on wordpress, sitting on your hosting (which should also have your email accounts for that domain name), which is where the domain name (website name) points. I look after it all.
So, the offer, and you may have some of these in place already:
- First we have a chat about it, where you are, where you are trying to get to and what you see as stopping you.
- You decide what domain name(s) you want, I buy it. Or, send me whatever emails you got about the domain, including username and password.
- I get your website hosted, or send me what you have on that and assume it is all ok.
- I setup your email addresses and show you how to access them on the web or through your existing devices or email accounts.
- I suggest themes that seem to fit what you are looking for, or you send me what you have seen or purchased. We decide on a theme.
- I show you how to put up new pages and news posts or blogs.
- When you have a question, you contact me. I give you the first level response, then I log a call with the hosting company for support if it needs something else.
