It has been four years since my wife Ardy passed away from Multiple Myeloma. I am as committed as ever to help MMRF to find a cure for this disease. We want to raise funds and honor Ardy by once again participating in the MMRF Team for Cures on Sunday, September 24.

I will be taking part as the captain of the Ardy Germann Team in the MMRF Team for Cures: 5K Walk/Run around Lake Phalen, which is an event to raise awareness and funds for research for multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. Your support will help the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) continue its progress in offering hope to the thousands of individuals and their families facing the diagnosis of multiple myeloma.

Since its inception in 2001, the MMRF Team for Cures program has raised more than $21 million to support the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation’s urgent work. The MMRF has helped bring 6 new myeloma drugs to market in just 10 years. Nearly 90% of MMRF’s total budget goes directly to research and related programming.
