When you actually start shaping your life and lead it, you will feel the power which was hidden inside in you for so long and then you realise why i was feeling unhappy and unfulfilled because your subconscious knows everything it watches each of your actions and is aware of your potential. when you start taking control of your habits, your life will change. It's always better to lead your life consciously and shape your future with your own hands as the famous author Napoleon Hill has mentioned in his bestselling book “Think and Grow Rich” that “A man is master of his fate and captain of his soul”.
For example if you decide that every day you will not sleep unless and until you finish reading a chapter or say 5 pages of a good book. Imagine a person starts reading 5 pages of any subject related to his/her field, where that person will be in 5 years? In the same way, a person starts eating diet food and does healthy workout 5 times a week, where will he be in 5 years?or in the next 10 years? He/She will be the fittest and the most active version of themselves to be emulated by others.
It might happen that just a good video might change your daily habits to a better disciplined person. There are so many motivating quotes on this subject of habits. “Man is largely a creature of habit, and many of his activities are more or less automatic reflexes from the stimuli of his environment”-G. Stanley Hall. I can suggest some great books on the habits, you can adapt by just reading some of the books which can drastically change and improve your habits:

I have picked up following good habits and after going through this regimen strictly for myself quality of my life has improved a lot.
1.Always carry a smile on your face, no matter how much you are tensed or depressed. As there is a famous saying that "negativity attracts negativity", always try to carry a smile on your face, don’t go outside with a dull and tired face.
2. Waking up early in the morning and sleeps by 10:00 PM. Early to bed and early to rise makes a man perfect. Make a schedule and tries to work on it.
3. Impeccable Table Manners. This is one of the most important points which can speak a lot of your personality and future be very good on table manners and respect others who are eating with you.
4. Respect your parents. Parents are the only ones in this world who can always be with you in any situation, so respect them, otherwise one day you will find yourself all alone.
5.Exercise daily. We need physical activity to stay healthy. Start your day with an exercise, also don’t eat junk food or non-veg.
6.Practice gratitude. It is so easy to get in the bad habit of envying what others have. The grass often seems greener on the other side of the fence. just practice thinking about the things you have to be thankful for.
7.Respect the environment. It seems to be hip to be “green”, but being a good steward of our environment is really not that new. We only have this one world and we depend on it for our survival. Every person needs to do their part to protect what we have.
8.Be an avid reader. Being a good reader is a skill set that often separates the success of people from those that struggle. Becoming a good reader takes practice. The more you read and are read to, the better you get.
9.Be always punctual. Arriving on time is important to one’s success. People always notice when you are late. It is an indicator of whether you mean what you say and can be trusted.
10. Meditate daily for your spiritual needs. We cannot ignore our spiritual needs and truly lives a full and rewarding life. We must recognise that there is a higher power and pursue our faith and regularity. On a more spiritual note, what you practice today decides your actions and those actions are your karma. Your karma decides what you deserve to receive. This is only for believers. For those who do not believe in the next birth or karma, the first set is all there is to understand. I think that changes happens painfully and by psychological preparation. Control is the hardest part of all the process... ?
