Back in the nineties seen as a timeframe that sounded like it would be exciting, completely out of this world cool and futuristic, clean, filled with flying cars, robot butlers, and weekend trips to the moon. Instead, here we are, on our phones and devices, scrolling through endless posts and screens, dodging AI algorithms that know what we want before we do, and still trying to figure out what all those "Wellness influencers" mean when they talk about “Finding your center.”

But maybe, just maybe, there’s a better source of wisdom. One that doesn’t require a subscription, a diet, a week of juice cleansing, microdosing, or that new yoga mat with the right amounts of cushioning. One that’s free, infinitely patient, and has been quietly waiting inside you, for, well..., your entire life. Let me introduce you to your inner guru.

Who is your Inner Guru, anyway?

You might picture a guru as a long-bearded sage, standing on a rock of lava in the sea, or maybe a serene figure in flowing robes dispensing life advice while sipping on organic green tea. But let’s not get caught up in stereotypes. The guru inside you is 'a little' different. They’re more like a combination of your wise grandparent, that hilarious friend who always tells it like it is, and the best therapist who doesn’t charge by the hour.
