Your Guide To A Healthy Weight

A healthy weight is a weight range. A guide to this range is the Body Mass Index (BMI) scale.?

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), you must have a BMI that is between 18.5 to 24.9. That is a healthy weight range - it means you have a good weight for your height.

The BMI scale has limitations, as it doesn’t take into consideration muscle mass or body composition.?

Measure your Waist to Hip Ratio (WHR) and do a Body Composition Analysis (BCA) to have a better measure of your overall health. If possible, also include other measurements such as blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar levels.?

Having a healthy weight is the starting point of your overall health. Refer to your health care professional for more information.
