I love resorts and had just come from working at a theme park,” he explained. “While at Tuscany Village, I became a supervisor, assistant manager, and then the activities director. One of my top accomplishments was being part of the awesome Tuscany Village Recreation Team and winning an ARDA award for Best Recreation Team in 2017.”
Within the past few years, Josh has been able to grow his career and his family. “After 11 years at Tuscany Village, I transferred to the corporate office and joined the social media team. It’s been a big journey. I went from a pool deck to backstage at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions , and even added a family member during that time,” he said.

“I took 12 weeks of parental leave when my son was born. I am beyond grateful for that time,” he said. “It was easy to use and available for all parents, fathers, mothers and adopted parents. It’s really an amazing benefit,” he said. “Parental leave is the farthest thing from a vacation. I probably worked more than I did at work,” Josh said with a laugh. “But I was able to bond and have those moments with my newborn son that I can’t get back.”
Josh and his family have also bonded by taking memorable vacations together. “Because of the travel benefits, we travel a lot. Before having our son, my wife and I took a vacation across Europe for 2 1/2 weeks and stayed at Hilton properties. Even now, our extended family can come and visit and spend time with the baby. I think it’s my family’s favorite benefit,” he said.
