Are your goals really important to you?
Every small or big task which takes us closer to our desired dream is known as a goal. Our goals fuel our passion, provide the oxygen for our dreams and are both the first step and the final destination for every journey we set out to take.?
Reflection Question 1: Do your goals fuel your passion?
The most common way we set goals is by reflecting on what we have accomplished the previous year. For example, last year if you easily read 1 book every month, then this year your goal becomes to read 13, very well knowing how possible it is for you.
Another way we frequently set goals is based on common norms. For instance, if a 10% hike is the norm, that 10% becomes the goal.?
Reflection Question 2: What have you been basing your goals on?
What we believe we are capable of accomplishing is almost entirely determined by our most profound feelings about it. As a result, we may find ourselves doubting our abilities and caliber, rather than pushing ourselves, and setting minimum and expected goals. All this just so that we don't go to great lengths to achieve our objectives only to fail.?

Reflection Question 3: On a scale of 1-10 (1 Being the Lowest, 10 being the highest) how much do you believe in your capabilities and caliber?
Instead of that, what should we be doing? We can enrich our goal-setting process by challenging goals that give us a tremendous sense of satisfaction and accomplishment once we've begun to work on them. Aim for goals that seem a bit challenging, make us feel truly passionate, empower us to want to get out of our comfort zone, and are really significant for us to achieve. A real challenge is setting goals that seem unrealistic at times, but are in fact important to us!
Reflection Question 4: What are 2 goals you would like to set for the coming year and are these goals ‘you should achieve’ or goals that are ‘really important and significant for you’?
