The Story...

Sunil....

Sunil was a merit student. He had everything going for him, a good family and their support, the family was wealthy and he attended the best schools. Sunil was intelligent and many teachers gave him accolades for his brilliance.

Since his family business was construction, he ended up being part of the same with his education tailored to put him at the apex. He took up the reins and managed to run the organization to a moderate growth in his life.

Was Sunil A Success?

Amit....

Then there was Amit. A middle class family with divorced parents. Average Family Income. Average Schooling with basic financial support. Amit's teachers were reluctant to comment on his future, it seemed bleak. There was no set course for him in terms of curriculum or career.

He had to fight to achieve his goals in his life while growing up. His passion was in building - creation of structures, which seemed to take a life of their own as he began work on them. He began as a construction contractor and became a developer. He was considered to be amongst the top developers of his region but that wasn't enough, he wanted more. He wanted to be active across the whole country and maybe the whole world.

Is that Success?

It is said that if you reach for the stars, you will at least reach the sky.

Amit is reaching for the stars. No lessor goal is acceptable despite it being easier to achieve. Sunil is content in his comfort zone.

Most of us tend to think, obstacles stop us from reaching out to our goals or success, maybe it is that we have not realized goals that are aligned to our being and our potential, therefore we fall short. We tend to move towards easier goals because they are accessible and we can see them but then are we falling short of our potential or doing justice to it?

Today's Business...

Dynamics are changing rapidly. Yesterday's mindset no longer prevails because trends are evolving along with technology. Outreach is faster, connects are faster and so are decisions. If your response time is not appropriate, you will lose out to growth. Long Term Focus & Attention is lacking due to lack of time for every individual and once attention lost - the deal is lost!

Data is no longer valuable as itself but rather as information derived by running analytics on data. Those who can sieve data and gather valuable information and encompass the same for a human mind to grasp and utilize to their benefit will win. Analytics require a premise for analysis and the premise is defined by the goal to be reached. Information from data would assist in navigating to the goal by offering an understanding of its dynamics.

An Example....

China can construct a building in days where many countries would take years. Why? It's because China is in synergy with all kinds of technology, logistics, skillsets, manufacturing and processes for such rapid execution but we are not. We can be in synergy as well and produce similar results but we have chosen a lesser goal despite the options we have available to us even though we know it can be done.

The Process....

Finding a goal to align with is our first quest. To align with the goal is our second. To be able to sustain the alignment will undoubtedly take grit, courage and patience until we get to the goal. Let the goal be larger than life so that you can imbibe the values and the maturity leading you to Mammoth Growth. Achievement of every goal will ultimately take you to another goal, bigger and larger than the last one.

Comfort Zone....

You will finally understand that Your Comfort Zone is only a mental limitation with no basis in reality and if you remain action-less out of your fear of overcoming the comfort zone, you will not be able to achieve much - only stagnation.

It is time to overcome and get out of your comfort zone. If ever you feel that you are becoming to comfortable with everything around you, it is time to understand that you need a larger goal to conquer. A Mammoth Goal that you need to surmount at any cost.

Lesser goals have clear paths and therefore the lure because they can be reached earlier and with less to worry about! Let your passion drive your vision, fuel it and give it everything you have got but allow wisdom but not greed to intrude. It will be your guiding compass and allow you to take the right call at the right time. Listen Intuitively when your self speaks and listen well.
