The Story of Joseph (Part 2)
A gift as best explained by Steve Harvey is "something that you do with the least amount of effort." It is one of the ways an individual can use to discover their purpose (the intent for which God created them). In countless occasions people become busy with things that have nothing to do with their purpose and run after money while the very same gift that they have abandoned is the one that can create wealth for them.
Practicing your gift not only comes with money but fulfillment inside of you, trust me if feels so good to do what you are gifted in with the least amount of effort.
Joseph had a gift of interpreting dreams and ohh, what was more interesting is that he provided the service freely to the Chief Baker and the Chief Butler who were worked for the King who happened to be in prison with him. Later the Chief Butler testified of him before the king. Later he interpreted the dream of the king and was greatly honored to becoming second in command of all Egypt, one of the most powerful nations of the ancient time. For his first gig of interpreting the Chief butler and baker dream, he didnt charge them but later he was paid for the service. How many people do we see charging for their service even when its their first time doing it? Those people are only after money but if you provide that service at first then we will pay you later when we know who you are.
Great football players such as Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo did not get a fat paycheck at first when they started committing to the football sport. They had to play first among different divisions and in the end they were paid. They only only discovered their gift now they make millions of dollars.
So the secret here is to find that gift God gave you, then serve the people like Joseph did and later you will be rewarded. Don't chase money, it will come as an end result of serving that gift to the people in the best possible way.

3 年That's very true, these schemes only dust shades talents. And many find themselves craving for money and success without satisfaction creating a vaccum in them.
