Indian Railways Advances Towards Net Zero with Landmark Renewable Energy Initiatives

Indian Railways has signed a 170 MW Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Madhya Pradesh government, securing solar power at a record low rate of Rs 2.15/kWh. This agreement is part of a broader strategy to achieve net-zero carbon emissions, with the railways already securing 4,260 MW of solar and 3,427 MW of wind energy to meet its energy needs.


Centre Develops 'Yamuna Master Plan' for River Cleanup in Delhi
