"Your Friend on the Journey"

Today I want to share something deeply personal and hopefully a little bit inspiring with you.

I'm doing a little bit of reminiscing and remembered back in high school, when I first read Robert Frost's poem, "The Road Not Taken." It spoke to me then, and it continues to guide my journey.

The lines:

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference."

have profoundly shaped my path and the work I do today. First it led me to college where I earned a music degree and worked as a Music Therapist. Then it led me to the military where I spent 20 years as a professional musician. It has guided me to become a coach and hypnotherapist and to start a radio station to amplify voices and to create a podcasting program to coach and mentor others on the journey.

Choosing the unconventional route has been a source of great fulfillment and growth for me, and I believe it can be for you too.

Reflecting on this poem, I realized how its wisdom applies to the journey of creating impactful content, whether it's writing a book, starting a podcast, or amplifying your voice in some other meaningful way. Here are a few ways taking the road less traveled can transform your journey:

• Unique Perspective: Embracing your unique voice and perspective sets you apart in a crowded market.
• Authentic Connections: Authenticity resonates deeply with audiences, creating lasting connections.
• Uncharted Opportunities: Exploring new avenues can lead to unexpected and rewarding opportunities.
• Personal Growth: The challenges of the unconventional path foster significant personal and professional growth.

I encourage you to take the road less traveled and embark on your journey of creating powerful content.
