If your Fiduciary Advisor is not clearly displaying all of their fees and costs openly, then perhaps they are Not a Fiduciary.
If your Fiduciary Advisor is not clearly helping you with proactive tax planning, then perhaps they are Not a Fiduciary.
If your Fiduciary Advisor claims they earn or charge zero for insurance products then consider you may need to re-state the question. Does anyone from your organization get compensated commissions or incentives to provide insurance solutions?
If your advisor states to you I would put my mother in this investment and wants you to simply buy into it as well you might question if the advisor likes their mother. Demand more disclosure on costs and fees. As of December 2017 we still see many banks, insurance company's and investment firms not disclosing fees openly and clearly.
