We are thrilled to join in on celebrating Black History Month for this edition! Since 1976, the once-week-long honor has celebrated the incredible contributions of the Black community, and many higher education institutions continue to uplift students and give them the tools they need to succeed. Read on below as we highlight the impactful work of institutions supporting Black students, exploring Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) richness, and discovering resource centers that empower and uplift their community.


5 questions leaders should ask when supporting Black male students

From inequities to structural hurdles, Black men face unique challenges in college. However, despite these hurdles, more Black males will succeed when institutions provide intentional programming based on their histories, context, and needs. How 1,000+ prospective HBCU students conducted their college search

This fall will be an important time for HBCU enrollment leaders to double down on the messaging and marketing strategies that can help them best engage prospects. To better understand the right steps to take, we looked at our 2023 Student Communication Preferences Survey and examined the trends in how students search for and evaluate colleges. Paine College’s 10-year transformation plan

Paine College is an integral part of the Central Savannah River Area and is the region’s only Historically Black College. To help enhance their impact on their community and students, Paine is embarking on a ten-year transformation plan, partnering with EAB, Augusta National Golf Club, Bank of America, and the Community Foundation for the Central Savannah River Area.
