These updates aim to make EV charging more convenient for drivers on the go or planning trips.
It’s become clear that an expansion of the US electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure is needed to support the transition to zero-emissions vehicles. Currently, the US has 188,600 public and private charging ports and 67,900 charging stations, compared to approximately 145,000 gas stations. According to Coltura, achieving full electrification by the 2040s will require increasing public chargers sixfold.?
