Things you can do to make it tough for people to quit on you:
1.??????Schedule time of 8 to 12 minutes every week or every other week coaching to a specific area where progress can be made and should be made.
2.??????Send them a handwritten note in the mail or put it on their desk... the power of the written word should not be underestimated.
3.??????Call them of them into your office and by the way you're not only talking to them because they're going to share it with their teammates. The power of strength based feedback can accelerate team collaboration and cooperation.
4.??????Find out what their ideal destination is and help them pursue traveling in that direction in terms of their career goals and aspirations whether it be inside the job or outside the job.
5.??????Find them a mentor to pursue their individual and professional goals outside of your relationship which will help accelerate talent development and retention.
