Is your email ready for Google's new rules?

Is your email ready for Google's new rules?

Are you ready for the upcoming changes to your email deliverability?

Starting on February 1, Google and Yahoo will have strict, updated, requirements in order to ensure deliverability in inboxes. These include:

  • Authenticating your emails using security protocols like DKIM, SPF, and DMARC.
  • Implement one-click unsubscribe, and honor unsubscribes within two days.
  • Maintain a spam complaint rate under 0.3% (no more than three spam reports for every 1,000 messages).

Getting this set up will help you build trust with your audience and allow Google and Yahoo to know you're a trustworthy domain. Now is the time to get this set up as it takes a few days for settings to take hold!

Constant Contact has a great article that you can start with.

Reach out if you have any questions! Remember that though these changes can be frustrating and annoying, it is just another step forward in being true and authentic to those that you're emailing.
