Your Dose of Fashion Insights: Week 30

FW24 has finally kicked off (officially), reflected in a huge rise in number of views for NY-based brands Khaite and Helmut Lang who made it into the top 10 most viewed brands. Lots of attention on "blazers", "suits", and "trench coats" which makes sense with those brands. Keep scrolling to see other top trends.

Having said that, the FW24 shows haven't completely dominated this week's data, since the top 10 most viewed looks were mainly made up of Isabel Marant's Pre-Fall 24 lookbook, and we're still seeing Marc Jacobs and Jacquemus at the top of our brand ranking. This week we asked our users on which social media platform they most look at influencer content: 76% said Instagram, while 11% preferred TikTok, 8% stated newsletters (eg. Substack), and 5% YouTube. This makes sense since our average user age (shared with us) is 30. It is interesting to note that newsletters are nearly as popular as TikTok; with the huge amounts of superficial information we receive daily, it feels more personal to read more in-depth accounts of an influencer's experience.
