If Your Digital Marketing Is Perfect, Ignore This Article...
Running a business takes a lot of time, and there are a lot of things to consider. Marketing is key to what you do, and knowing what to do isn’t simple.?
Let’s face it - if everything?WAS?perfect, you wouldn’t be reading this…
That is where my 3 main tips come in:?
1. Prioritise What Is Most Likely To Work
No one can do everything. You either hire a team, or outsource to a company to cover everything if needed, but you can’t do it all. It is far better to do 1 or 2 social media platforms well than try and manage 6, because none of them will be perfect.?
?Imagine opening a restaurant, then imagine trying to open and manage 6 all at the same time. They will never be as good as spending time on 1 or 2.?
2. No One Cares About Your Business, Yet…
Too many businesses want to talk about the brand as the main focus. That isn’t what most consumers want to hear, they want to know what your product/service can do for them.?
As my good friend Sam says: “No one buys shampoo, they buy clean hair”. Focus on showing people how you can solve their problem, not how wonderful your brand is.?
3. Test, test, and test again
Your audience will tell you what works. Don’t bundle every selling point in together, split them up and run separate strategies for each. Don’t assume your messaging works for everyone, speak to them as individually as you can. Don’t take 10 pictures and only use 1, use as many as you can, because your audience may respond to an image, ad or post that you never expected them to respond to.?
