Well, it's been a while since my last Newsletter and although i have enjoyed some time off work I can honestly say that I am ready to get back to it and go full steam ahead.

Today I want to talk about whats often an elephant in the room but one that needs addressing quickly to establish brands and their identity in the future.

In this newsletter, we'll delve into the strategies and techniques that will transform your dealership's content from average filler to targeted messaging that resonates with your ideal buyers.

Whether you're struggling to stand out in a crowded market or simply looking to enhance your brand presence then this Newsletter could help.


Chapter 1: Understanding Your Audience

Before you can create decent content, you need to understand who you're speaking to. Identify your ideal customer persona by considering factors such as who you think would be the ideal customer.

Demographics, psychographics, and buying behaviours should be key in how you create.


Chapter 2: Crafting Targeted Messaging

Once you've identified your ideal customer, it's time to craft messaging that speaks directly to their needs, preferences, and pain points. Tailor your content to address specific challenges and offer solutions that your audience may have.

Deep dive into the vehicle, its history etc etc. Use language that reflects your customer avatar like their interests and aspirations, positioning your dealership as the answer to their automotive needs.


Chapter 3: Leveraging Content Channels

Explore the various channels available to distribute your content and reach your target audience effectively. From social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube and Instagram, to email marketing and blogging, choose the channels that align with your audience's preferences and behaviour.

NOTE: You should test where possible and double down.

Develop a content strategy that utilises each channel to its full potential, ensuring maximum reach and engagement.


Chapter 4: Creating Engaging Content

Captivate your audience with compelling content that grabs their attention and encourages interaction. Experiment with different formats such as videos, infographics, and interactive quizzes to keep your audience engaged and entertained.

The game aims to always grab attention and stand out from the crowd. Creating expected mundane content like everyone else will not help you do that.

You need to focus on building trust and giving the customer what they want whilst finding ways to keep in front of them whilst engaged.

NOTE: Smaller dealers have the advantage here, they often have less red tape and can implement strategy quicker. However... we are hearing that larger groups are looking to streamline processes to reach customers whilst introducing their staff to fly the flag.

If the customer knows your people before they buy the process is much smoother!


Chapter 5: Measuring Success

Track and analyse the performance of your content to determine what's working and what's not. Monitor key metrics such as engagement rates, website traffic, and lead generation to gauge the effectiveness of your content strategy.

Data in this world can be your best friend. It tells you where to put more effort and reap more rewards.

Using this data to make informed decisions and optimise your approach for better results over time is what can make a big difference.
