Hope you're all enjoying this glorious sunshine and warmth and all managing to cope OK, with or without air conditioning! Today's a quick one (sorry it's so late in the day) - with some recent tips from TikTok on creating content that engages...
First, length does matter...
Depending on where you are in the funnel and whether you've engaged with the brand before, there's a likelihood piquing your interest and keeping your attention will differ. This is why, as marketers and social content producers, it's vital to get the duration right and to capture that vital attention right away!
If you've engaged with a brand before, you're more likely to want to 'learn more' about their message, what they're selling and how it can benefit you. Retargeting with longer ads can achieve this and still succinctly deliver valuable info to help nurture a purchase or enquiry.
Nobody really wants to watch a video of a person or a bunch of animated slides set in one scene for the entire duration of a video, it's boring and there's data to back it up. In fact, TikTok even says there's a 38% lift in conversion on videos which use multiple scenes.
Let me know your top TikTok tips, or your TikTok top tips (try saying that ten times fast!) in the comments below. Have a great evening and stay cool out there!
