Is Your Company Website Google Mobile Compliant?

Is Your Company Website Google Mobile Compliant?

Is your company or personal website Google mobile compliant? This sounds like such a simple question, right? But the problem is that over 95% of websites out there, most of which are business owned, are not Google mobile compliant. Just because I can pull up your company website and see your products or services on my mobile phone or my tablet does not mean your website is mobile compliant by Google standards.

You would not believe the number of companies that I talk to on a daily or weekly basis that have no idea what I'm talking about. Instead I hear from them constantly that their website traffic, and in particular, their Google search derived traffic has dropped astronomically. They asked me questions like if something is happening to the Internet and if it's becoming less popular.

This is completely far from what's really happening. What's really happened here is these companies and individuals that own these websites are failing Google's relatively new mobile compliant standards and they are getting penalized hard - really, really hard. They are losing 75% or more of their search engine traffic and in many cases this is happening overnight. Just because your website and/or pages of your website are visible on a mobile phone or tablet does not necessarily mean that you are mobile compliant by Google's standards.

There are certain things that Google looks for and there is a range of them and some are more important than others in determining mobile compliance for your website. If your website has dropped out of the rankings and been penalized due to noncompliance you can easily get yourself put back in but it is going to take fixing the items that your website does not have or is lacking. It will also take a month or two to get back in to the regular Google search.

Yes, putting up great, unique content on a daily basis does help. But not having your website be mobile compliant can bring about such a big ding in dropped search traffic from the largest search engine Google that this is actually been equated to being worse than the Panda, Penguin and other harsh Google updates over the past five or ten years.

Being caught without a Google mobile compliant website can literally cost you 75% or more of your search engine traffic from Google. That is a huge penalty and it is so easy to avoid it. Watch this free video and see how easy it is to see in a matter of seconds if your company or personal website is mobile compliant by Google standards:
