Your Clients Don't Give a F*** About You

Your clients do not care about you.

The majority of people do not care about your NASM certification, your passion for training, or your recent triathlon accomplishment.

It's easy to fall into the trap of self-focused communication because that's what everyone automatically does.

But just like you and I, they are seeking something that directly relates to them. Their primary concern is whether you can solve their problem.

It's not that people are uninterested in hearing about you, but it must be relevant to their problems, and their needs.

The average person has limited knowledge about personal training. They don't have the context and understanding of the significance behind your certification and accomplishments.

When they visit your profile, or you're marketing your service, they should feel that it has been customized for them, not for yourself. It should showcase their problems and needs and demonstrate your ability to provide solutions.

This might seem counterintuitive, not to talk about you're qualifications.

but talking about them make it seem like you're applying for a job.

"Hey look! I'm qualified to train you, pick me!"

Your profile is not your CV.

It's a persuasive piece of copy that should make your clients feel relieved to have discovered a page that articulates their problems and needs more effectively than they could do themselves.

Don't be the amateur applying for a job. instead position yourself as the expert and focus on addressing their needs and problems
