Your Chance to Start a Trend!

Your Chance to Start a Trend!

For people who want to have fun when they run, we created a brand new race this year,?one of the first in the world that we can find on Google, and one that we think is going to be replicated by countless others in the years ahead—a?5K Water Bottle Relay

The?5K Water Bottle Relay?covers 3.1 miles total, and you and four friends or family members can each run any portion of it as long you complete all 3.1 miles between you, passing a water bottle like a baton to complete each leg.??Team Tenbusch?will feature our son running two miles, Pops running a half mile, our two daughters running a quarter mile each and my bride bringing it home the last 100 yards.?I’m pretty sure we are going to win.

But hear my heart: 2,000 people living in the?Buen Samaritano?neighborhood?in Tegucigalpa, Honduras?desperately need you and your team to run it, too! We are running this race to raise $250,000 to bring water to this community and hope to have 250 teams raise $1,000 each.

We have 99 team captains now and need 141 more.?Please email me at [email protected] to let me know you’d like to be a team captain or just sign up now?on our race website by clicking here.??Of course, you can still run the open 5k or walk the mile if you prefer those distances instead.

We will do everything we can to make sure this is a fun and meaningful event for you.?And it’s an easy and important way to spend more time outdoors exercising with friends and family members.

Trust me when I say it will be one of the most meaningful things you will do in 2022.?Two thousand people in the?Buen Samaritano?neighborhood will agree with me when water flows in their homes for the first time ever with your support this fall.
