Your Brokenness is Not Useless
It is fine to acknowledge and to embrace that you are broken. You are certainly not in that state alone. There are many women, men and teens whose lives have been shattered into pieces and they are struggling to put themselves back together again.
I know because I have been there and now I help others to pick up the broken pieces of their lives. It is a painful place to be in, but it is even more painful if you choose to remain. The pain is not going to "just go way," and the pieces are not going to just fall into place again. It is going to take hard work, the strength to stay the course and putting the pieces in place one-by-one.
The pieces may have some marks, some just on the surface and some a little more deep. However, those marks (scars actually), will only be a reminder of how you gained strength, became powerful, embraced your worthiness, and put in the work to become whole again.
Those marks will have great value. They will be a medal of your victory. They will be a bright light that shines on someone else's life to show them they can mend. They will be the topic of a story, a speech or even a song that encourages someone to get back up and move on. They will be the saving grace for someone who has lost their way, who is still suffering greatly from open wounds and thinks they will never heal.
Your brokenness is not useless. There is a reason for it all. You may have suffered greatly, been shattered to many pieces, but the new you will blow your mind. You will proclaim, "Yes, I am a come back champion, a masterpiece of my Heavenly Father's, an amazing and prosperous child of God!"
Through your brokenness you will learn many lessons; however, they will become blessings that you can embrace and share with the world! You can say to others, "Me too! Just like you, I have been wounded, shattered and torn. However, look at me now! I am unstoppable and you can be it also!"

8 年Well, there is a deeper level of brokenness. That's what King David is talking about: A broken and contrite heart (Psalm 51 verse 17). Watch the opening message of my conference on Brokenness: https://youtu.be/MiLxQDWkuNE

8 年I have found that through our brokenness we discover what we are truly made of. It is is not all heartache, though much of it is. As we mature too we invite it, or initiate it, because we know that in our weakness God's strength is manifested well on our behalf. Thanks for highlighting this topic. I shall share it gladly.
