Happy Friday!

Party at XCHG Spaces at 22 Bishopsgate .

This year I was a time traveller (as seen below)

And if that didn't scare you enough, how about travelling back to 1973?
ICYMI: When I posted that image above last week it went viral. Here's the full post.
I LOL’d when I saw this meme.
Many of us like to reminisce about “the good ol’ days,” but…
While funny, this meme highlights a truth:
the past didn’t work for everyone.
We’ve made incredible strides in society, technology, and healthcare.
So, is looking backward really the way forward?
Instead of idealizing past success as the model for today, what if we focused on building a future that truly benefits everyone?
After all, there’s still a lot of room for growth…
Speaking of Growth...
Motivate > mandate went mainstream!
Bisnow published this article suggested office landlords and corporate real estate "create a magnet, not a mandate" to drive people back to the office.
We're making progress!

Why Commercial Property Landlords Need to Focus on Improving Mobile Connectivity
As hybrid working has become the new norm, commercial landlords are playing a game of musical chairs. But instead of vying for a seat when the music stops, they’re scrambling to keep their tenants in their seats – and, more importantly, in their buildings. Gone are the days when a desk and a decent cup of coffee were all you needed to keep the office buzzing. The shift towards hybrid working means that offices are competing with the convenience of home working, where reliable connectivity is generally guaranteed. Read more from Khushboo

Always insightful Caleb Parker and Lucy McInally. The time traveling/meme post still has me laughing (or crying....not sure which one). I wrote the following in thoughts I spun into a Workbar blog- In the tech world, companies age in dog years—moving through growth stages at lightning speed compared to the twentieth-century standard. Yet, commercial building valuations still cling to outdated lease terms, with brokers pitching five-year leases as if time hasn’t moved on. It’s surprising that any company in today’s fast-paced environment would still sign on for such a lengthy commitment.
