Your Board
Today's devotional is from A Daily Taste of Proverbs
"For waging war you need guidance, and for victory many advisers" - 24:6.
The more input you can get concerning your life decisions, the better equipped you will be to make good decisions. At the same time, you want to be careful who you consult to make sure you are getting godly and reasonable advice. That is why you should consider having a personal board of directors who can advise you on various aspects of your life and work.
These advisers can be alive and well, or role models who left a legacy from a life well lived whose lives can yield rich stores of wisdom as you read their stories and testimonies. Have you ever considered having a personal board of directors? Who serves or would serve on it? What difference are they making in your life? For an example of one who sought advice and one who did not, read 1 Kings 22 .
