Most of us would say we like who we are. Although most of us can accept who we are, we never truly accept our limitations as human beings. We never accept the status quo with who we are. There is work to be done on our outlook, attitude or character. Works in progress!

BEST SELF: Refers to your emotional, spiritual, intellectual state of mind. It changes over time according to what you need and value. It is unique to each person.

There is an inner drive that pushes us to the next level to always be better as human beings. By virtue of being alive, there is a natural desire to evolve and self-improve.

BEST SELF INVOLVES CHOICES. Choose what you need to be better. Choose to be honest with yourself. Choose to improve yourself. Choose never to allow other peoples' criticism of you become your reality. Do not put unreasonable expectations upon yourself to add stress to your life. There is no race when you are the only winner.

BEST SELF INVOLVES GROWTH. Choose to make new goals. Choose to grow through new opportunities. Choose to take steps that lead you to what you value.

EXAMPLE: Let us assume we have a higher calling inside of us to be a better version of ourselves; perhaps to be wise, humble, forgiving, calm, or spiritual. Choose what you want and move towards that quality or way of life. Live it!

• Choose to want it for your own growth because you love yourself.
• Choose to recognize there is no "perfect" only your best self.
• Pursuing your "best self" should be done with authenticity.

YOU ARE THE CREATOR OF YOUR OWN LIFE. CREATE WHAT YOU WANT!
