Your Best-Earning NonFiction Book Formula, Part 2

In Part 1, I shared about the role your avatar plays in your book.

Recently, I talked about sharing a formula your reader can read, remember, do, and share (in my new book,?The Bestselling Book Formula).

Obviously your book's content cannot replace your sage, one-on-one advice; however, it can provide valuable guidance and insight to your readers. In addition, your book can provide, step-by-step, your process in a way that is duplicable by your reader.

For example: Not everyone can afford?Publishing Ph.D. ?or my custom done-for-you publishing services, so I share my entire process in?You MUST Write a Book ?(grab a copy of the new 4th Edition here with my compliments?here ) and provide a place to put my advice into action in?I Must Write MY Book ?(the companion workbook).

Breaking news:?I have a new mini-course:?Crafting Your Book !?In it I help you make critical decisions and answer important questions to inform and influence the contents of your book--so it will be the work horse you need it to be!

In preparation for sharing your formula, jot down the steps you take when working with your clients. Remember: your readers won't have your depth of knowledge, and indeed, won't need it when you provide your road map!

Here's an example:

  • Encouragement (your reader?can?create their desired results)
  • Stories and Examples
  • Short Formula in the form of an acronym: overview
  • The Formula-in-action
  • Other tips, tools, resources, and ideas
  • How to get results in the best possible way
  • Call to Action

I'll share more about each of these the day after tomorrow, and even provide two different examples, but first I need to help you make sure your book is as professional as possible! See you tomorrow!
