Many of our service members possess valuable skills and experiences, yet communicating these in a way that resonates with civilian employers often poses a challenge for both Veterans and those hiring.

Mentors play a crucial role in this translation process, helping Protégés articulate their military expertise in terms that align with industry expectations. By bridging this gap, Mentors empower Protégés to confidently present their qualifications and secure rewarding career opportunities.

On that note, I am honored to announce that ACP recently reached a milestone of 34,000 Alumni served through mentorship! This achievement would not be possible without the dedication of our Mentors and the support of our partner companies who believe in our mission.

Who's Who at ACP

Emily Christian,?Manager of Office Operations

Emily joined ACP in February 2021, bringing with her a strong foundation in public administration from her Master’s degree earned at Binghamton University . She began her tenure as an Operations Associate, where her dedication and skills quickly set her apart. By June 2022, Emily's contributions and leadership led to her promotion to Manager of Office Operations.

In her current role, Emily is instrumental in managing the backbone of ACP's operations. She oversees a wide array of functions, including the development and implementation of internal policies, personnel administration and internal financial management. Her role also encompasses the coordination of facilities and IT resources, ensuring that ACP’s infrastructure supports the organization’s mission effectively and efficiently.

Emily is also a key player in ACP’s mentorship program, managing 25 active mentorships. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Emily enjoys playing video games and street skating.
