YOUR ATTITUDE IS ALL!

YOUR ATTITUDE IS ALL!

Rest assured, I have encountered numerous individuals who have experienced a decline in their mental well-being when confronted with challenging circumstances.

On several occasions throughout my quest for career opportunities, I have been questioned about the rationale behind my transitions between roles (often referred to as brief stints). Frequently, I found myself unable to provide a precise response. Perhaps on some occasions, I departed from an employer due to diverging perspectives on organisational directives. On other occasions, I discovered that acts of benevolence and kindness did not always work in my favour (if you catch my meaning). In certain instances, it may have simply been a matter of cultural fit - meaning that somebody no longer held me in high regard.

Nevertheless, I have consistently equipped myself for challenging times (at least thus far), enabling me to part ways with an employer without concern for my financial stability until securing another position or entrepreneurial endeavour - this would be another subject called on your way to #financialfreedom

With this in mind, the significance of #attitude becomes apparent when one is already unemployed and seeking new career prospects:

Attitude holds tremendous importance in securing employment as it mirrors a candidate's ability to adapt, collaborate within a team and demonstrate resilience. Recruiters such as Search | Select | Hire Talent are inclined towards candidates who exhibit a positive attitude as they are more likely to take on challenges enthusiastically and contribute towards fostering a positive work environment while displaying rapid learning capabilities.

For instance, an individual who approaches problem-solving with fervour holds greater appeal than someone possessing the requisite skills but exhibiting negativity. A positive attitude often signifies potential for growth, rendering such candidates valuable long-term assets to any organisation.

My interviews place less emphasis on technical competencies (we stick to the basics and non-negotiable requirements) and instead concentrate on #softskills. The rationale behind this approach is straightforward. According to @victor kuppers' theory of success - expressed by the formula (C+H)*A which translates into (K+S)*A - it is evident that only "A" remains constant; representing attitude whilst "K" and "S" are susceptible to significant influence from "A". Hence why "A" functions as a multiplier rather than an additive factor.

Keep a positive #attitude always! Don't let situations put you down (at least not for too long), otherwise you will loose focus on what really matters.
