It's been a full-on & fab week here and I can really see how this year's new habits are helping me stay more centred and relaxed than usual. (I did have a bit of a spin-out this morning but got back on track and here we are!).
LET'S GET YOUR MIND, BODY & SKIN SPARKLING!
I respect and appreciate our time together - so let's get focused!
There's loads of research now about how our mind, gut, skin & general wellbeing are all connected - ?and they all impact each other. ?I've already shared that last year I was NOT in a good place in any of these areas … but things have changed massively this year: I've got my sparkle back!?
So let's zoom in on 4 quick, simple, repeatable things have made a HUGE difference! ??
HEALTHY GUT?…?the ZOE nutrition results are in & my gut health is EXCELLENT at 83% ??? Shout out for my microbiome!! ?
SPARKLE TIME …?I'm all about balance and everything in moderation (most of the time!). ?I definitely drink more mindfully these days (menopause and a hangover? OMG NO!! ??). But when NICE asked me to be their Mother Christmas, driving around London in a pink limo handing out sparkling wine I jumped at the chance and here's why...
SKIN SCRUB…?Winter weather, heating & all those bugs play havoc with your skin. Did you know that exfoliating your body (use a natural scrub with no plastics) helps your largest organ to breathe? Removing those dead skin cells is a must for smoother, softer skin AND it's the very first thing I do if I feel a cold coming on. Try it! ?
GET MOVING …?I love to swim, get on my mat and walk in nature but when I get busy unless those things are in my diary they can get dropped. In January I signed up for a taster month at a local pilates reformer studio and it's the best thing ever! Having the twice-weekly classes in the diary keeps me on track, I've met some lovely people, always have a laugh and feel sooooo much better.? The?FIVE
