Is your 40k1 getting the returns you need?

I often hear people say "I've got a 401k, I'm OK" when asked about their retirement plans. If I say "Great! What kind of returns are you getting?", I get the deer-in-the-headlights look.

401k plans are NOT created equal. Each has it's own  rules, it's own strengths and it's own weaknesses. 

Even more important is your plan. Do you know how much you'll have in your 401k when you plan to retire? Do you know how much after-tax income it will provide - remember your favorite Uncle Sam will take 15-25% of your 401k income.

When did you last attend a presentation about your 401k plan? Do you know who's supposed to give you help with your investments?
