Your 4 Problems

Your 4 Problems

If you're struggling with marketing. Chances are your issue can be broken in 4 possible reasons why.

You either have:

??A traffic problem

??An offer problem

??A funnel problem

??A messaging problem

(You could have one or more of these issues)

I wrote a post about this many weeks ago. Since then I’ve received a few DMs asking questions about this.

So, I decided to use this as an opportunity to expand on these points.

First…

No one is immune to these issues.

I have clients who net 100k months, who sell 60k high ticket offers allll the way to clients who are starting from zero.

Every single one of my clients struggle with one of the 4 (or all) of these challenges.

The questions I’m getting are:

How do I know if I have an XYZ problem

And what are the solutions?

TODAY I WILL ONLY DISCUSS TRAFFIC.

Next week I’ll talk about offers, then funnel, then messaging.

A Traffic Problem

Alright, so you want more traffic, good call.

More traffic tends to mean more eyeballs on your stuff which means more opportunities to connect, convince, and convert your ideal prospects.

You also likely know that social media is incredibly powerful and has all the tools and all the capability necessary to deliver that traffic directly to you.

So here's the thing.

When it comes to generating traffic, social media isn't the issue.

It's got billions of users and it works just fine.

And a lack of traffic isn't really the issue because there's plenty of people out there who would be interested in what you have to offer.

The first thing you need to do when it comes to using social media to generate traffic is to work backwards. And what this means is to begin with the end in mind.

What I’m talking about here is clearly identifying that ONE KEY PLACE that we wanna be sending traffic to.

Do you want send traffic to your website?

Your linky profile?

To your blog?

An email list?

A webinar?

Whatever it is, you've got pick that one key place that's gonna give us the greatest opportunity of success.

Now, the reason it's important to be strategic here and to ideally pick just one place to send that traffic to is because we don't wanna dilute our traffic across a number of different places.

(At least not yet)

Pick that one place that's gonna give you the highest likelihood of success where you've had great luck converting those leads into prospects and into customers and clients and to go with that.

Find your people

The next thing when it comes to using social media to generate traffic is you need to go where your buyers hang out.

The way to do this is to first identify your ideal customer avatar.

Go after them and do that by finding out where they're spending their time online and which social media platforms they're using.

(Newsflash… TALK to your ICPs)

I know, I know.

It sounds simple but believe it or not, this is where so many people fumble the ball.

Most folks go to the channels that they want to use or that they think are the next hottest thing (Hi, Threads!)?and they completely miss going to the places where their customers are already active.

And that obviously is a huge waste of opportunity and a complete waste of time, energy, and cashola.

So find the platforms that they use and they love and then go to them.

And don't expect them to come to you.

Ain’t no one waiting for you to post content.

Quality vs Quantity

When it comes to social media, there's been a long standing debate of whether quality is more important or quantity is more important.

And well, where we're at today is that it's kind of a bit of both.

You need quality and you need quantity.

So don't be afraid to really dial in that first channel but then take the strategies, take the lessons, and take the tactics that you've learned and put them somewhere else.

Where your customers are.

Volume IS important.

What I’ve learned writing content for over 12 years is that…

When you are SUPER focused on quality, the volume suffers.

When you are SUPER focused on quantity, the quality suffers.

You need to figure how much you can humanly produce in a week and push the gas a little bit more.

Let’s be real.

SUPER high quality content doesn't live long on social media. It’ll die after an hour, a day, or even a few minutes.

8 times out of 10 if you want MORE traffic, you’ve got to produce MORE content.

Find leverage

Instead of driving yourself nuts over MORE content.

Look for ways to leverage OTHER people’s traffic.

The key here is to find overlaps with your idea traffic and another person’s traffic.

Get on more podcasts with a traffic source (not your BFFs 2 week old podcast).

Collaborate with other creators.

Get affiliate marketing going for your low ticket offers.

Use the “boost” function on your best performing content (i.e. high converting content).

Get your team to post content about the company and build THEIR personal brands.

Get out and go public speak some more.

Well… there you have it.

If you have a traffic problem, try one or more of these tips.

BOOM!
