Your 2024 Goal Results Are In – What’s Next?

The first month of 2025 is nearly over, and here’s the truth: it’s never too late to course-correct, refine your goals, and make this year truly extraordinary.

Towards the end of last year, I sent out a poll asking how far you’d come with your 2024 goals.

Thank you to everyone who participated!

It’s always inspiring to reflect on where we stand and what’s next in our journey.

Here’s what the results revealed:

• 11% exceeded their goals – amazing work!
• 17% hit their goals – well done!
• 39% hit some goals but missed others – steady progress!
• 33% didn’t manage to hit their goals – a fresh start awaits!

These insights show that when we set clear goals, even partial progress can propel us forward. As we dive into 2025, here are three key takeaways to set yourself up for success:

1. Celebrate Small Wins

Every step forward matters, no matter how small. Reflect on what worked well last year and use that as a foundation to build on. Progress, not perfection, is the key to sustained growth.

2. Embrace Adjustments

For those who fell short, know this: setbacks are not failures—they’re opportunities to recalibrate. Goals are not set in stone. Stay open, reassess your path, and make changes where needed. Flexibility, learning and growth are key to achieving what we want.

3. Focus on Balance

Life is full of competing priorities, and sometimes, we simply can’t do it all.

Heading into 2025, focus on the goals that truly matter. Simplify, streamline, and take actionable, focused steps toward what matters most.

Action Plan for 2025

1. Reflect: Spend 15 minutes listing your wins and challenges from 2024. What patterns stand out?
2. Refocus: Narrow your goals to your top 3 priorities. Use the SMART framework (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) to set them up for success.
3. Plan: Break each goal into weekly or monthly steps to maintain momentum.
4. Accountability: Share your goals with someone who will cheer you on and keep you motivated.

Your results matter, but so does the journey.

The lessons, joy, and resilience you gain along the way inspire me to keep creating tools, strategies, and support to help you thrive.
