"Young Stars Dazzle at Amity International School Raipur’s Independence Day ‘Little Patriots’ Fancy Dress Show"

In a vibrant celebration of India’s 78th Independence Day, Amity International School, Raipur, hosted the Little Patriots Fancy Dress Show as part of their Independence Day festivities. The day commenced with the flag hoisting and a rendition of the National Anthem, led by Chairperson Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan with special guests? Mr. Abhinav Chaturvedi, Mrs. Joyshree Arora, Dr. Vandana Vaadera. Principal Mrs. Arpita Majumdar and Mrs Ruchika Krishnani, Head events Amity Group of Schools.The ceremony was followed by a symbolic presentation of saplings to signify growth and sustainability.

The highlight of the celebration was the Little Patriots Fancy Dress Show, where young children, aged 2.5 to 6 years, showcased their creativity by dressing up as freedom fighters, Indian superheroes, and symbols of India's rich heritage. The chief guests assessed the participants and announced the winners across three age groups. In a heartwarming display of talent and creativity, Aagresh Rao, a young 3-year-old student at Makoons Pre School, won 1st place by embodying the essence of ‘Little Gandhi’ with remarkable confidence. Sanvi Gupta, age 6, from Amity International School, Raipur, secured 2nd place for her portrayal of the courageous Rani Laxmi Bai, delivering powerful slogans of Jhansi Ki Rani. The 3rd prize in the 4.5 years group was a tie between Kryansh Gupta, who depicted a valiant soldier, and Advik, who embodied Subhash Chandra Bose, both demonstrating impressive spirit and enthusiasm for their age. The winners were awarded cash prizes. The program featured a variety of cultural performances, including a vibrant dance presentation by students showcasing India’s diverse traditional attire. Another highlight was the Nukkad Natak, a street play performed by the children, which captivated the audience with its powerful message, illustrating a deep understanding of the true essence of independence. The event also highlighted the dedication of Amity’s teachers for their unwavering commitment to shaping the future of the students. The attendees took a moment to honor the efforts and sacrifices made by these educators in nurturing young minds. The teachers were motivated by the recognition and encouraged to continue their invaluable role in educating and guiding the next generation with the ethos and principles of Amity. The heartfelt words of appreciation from the parents for all the teachers were a true recognition of their dedication and hard work.
