Young players development - A2M vision and approach
We would like to share our experience working with one of our young players - Vlad Kalinichev.
Our head of analytics? Aleksandr Markelov ?used to be a youth football coach in Saint-Petersburg for Nevski Front peer 2006, where he met Vlad. It was the first football team in Vlad’s youth career.
Vlad started playing football at 11 years old in 4th tier of youth competitions in Saint-Petersburg and made his way to the top league in 4 years.
Since we started following his pathway to top youth level in Russia and designing the switch to professional football, we organised first trial for a week at?@academydynamo Moscow?with the team of his peers 2006 to value his impact at that level. At the end of trial we were offered to come again in 2 months time. When Vlad came back from the first trial, we collected feedback from the head coach and started working on improvements ????
In our team we stick to complex approach based on individual development of player in tactical, technical, mental and physical aspects additional to trainings of at the current team.?
@Grisha_coach?has designed a physical development program and Aleksandr Markelov and? Ignat Epifanov ?started on developing tactical sessions ??

A2M analytical department made an analysis out of player's matches and defined the main aspects that should be improved. Using zoom-calls we have done analysis of those aspect with the player, showed him how his role models behave in the same game situations and left to him a homework after each tactical session.
After 2 month of constant work Vlad came back for a second trial at Dynamo Moscow and also played a match for “Team of year 2005” which participates in Russian Youth Football League?@yflrussia?u-17, at the top of youth level. You can see the highlights from this game ??
Straight after Dynamo Moscow, Vlad joined another renowned local academy -?@uor5football?where he spent another week training and taking part in a official match of Moscow Winter League ??
At the end of these intense trial weeks in Moscow, he can bring back home a very valuable experience and first expressions of the top youth level in Russia and we are so proud of him ????????????
Now it’s time to analyse feedbacks from the coaches in order to patch the gaps, develop the player further and come back stronger during summer, aiming to join one of the teams ??
First important steps have been taken towards the potential move on a higher level! We even work harder now and wish the best progress to our player! ????
