The Cecil Andrews College Just StartIt team - PLASTIGO, have been selected as finalists in the Western Australian "Young Innovator of the Year Award" for 2018 - to be decided at a gala event on the 13th August 2018.

They decided to tackle plastic pollution by encouraging recycling using an interactive fun game called PLASTIGO with rewards and tokens.

They have produced a passionate video which outlines the current problems and their solution.

The team has been inspired by their teacher, John Townley with help from several other parties including the Darren Lomman of Greenbatch, Simon Loader from AXITO, Cecil Andrews College Principal - Stella Jinman and JSI Mentor Craig Power.
