?? Young Changemakers: Students Leading the Fight Against Climate Change

This week, in partnership with RCCDN Rwanda , we brought climate awareness to life with a quiz competition at G.S Rugando, where 70 students from four secondary schools in Gasabo and Bugesera districts came together to champion #ClimateAction. ??

The participants—Environment Club members from GS Rugando, GS Kimironko I, College St Fran?ois Xavier (APEBU), and TTC Nyamata—stood out as true ambassadors for climate advocacy. Through engaging plays, powerful speeches, and a spirited quiz competition, these students demonstrated not just their understanding of #ClimateChange but their unwavering commitment to being agents of change.

"You are not just the ‘Future.’ You are the ‘Today,’” said Philbert Nsengiyumva , our Climate Change Advisor. This sentiment was echoed by Faustin Vuningoma, cordinator at RCCDN Rwanda , reinforcing the importance of youth voices in driving impactful change.

By actively participating in events like this, these young leaders are stepping up to educate their peers and communities, showing that the fight for #ClimateJustice begins with them.
