You’ll Never Meet Your Goals and This Is Why…

? "Motivation is crap. Motivation comes and goes. When you're driven, whatever is in front of you will get destroyed." — David Goggins

Is your sales team motivated or DISCIPLINED?

? "Discipline equals freedom” —Jocko

Let’s be real. Motivation? It’s a joke.

You know it. I know it.

We’ve all felt “motivated” for about 10 minutes before reality smacks us in the face. Motivation is like that friend who hypes you up at the party but conveniently disappears when it’s time to clean up the mess.

How many times have you been MOTIVATED to get up before dawn when you go to bed, only to sleep in the following morning. We all have done this.

? "At dawn, when you have trouble getting out of bed, tell yourself: 'I have to go to work — as a human being. What do I have to complain of, if I'm going to do what I was born for — the things I was brought into the world to do?'" - Marcus Aurelius

Discipline, on the other hand—is real. It’s not glamorous. It doesn’t make you feel good in the moment. But it’s the one thing standing between you and another round of failure.

? "Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment." — Jim Rohn

If you or your sales team are waiting “feel motivated,” good luck. You’re going to be waiting forever. The truth is, discipline gets the job done when motivation is nowhere to be found.

? "With self-discipline most anything is possible." — Theodore Roosevelt

Want to accomplish something? Then stop scrolling through motivational quotes hoping for a spark.

Get disciplined. Put in the work when you don’t want to. When it’s uncomfortable. When it’s boring. That’s where success lives—right in the middle of all that unexciting grind.

? “How you do one thing, is how you do everything” —Unknown

Motivation is nice… when it decides to show up. But if you’re serious about success? Forget it. Discipline is the only thing you can count on.

? "The first and best victory is to conquer self." — Plato

??“So you want to get better? You want to self-improve? Stop looking for a shortcut and go find your alarm clock.” -Jocko
