You'll laugh at which LinkedIn group has shrunk the most lately...
On May 11th I recorded the number of members in 40 LinkedIn groups, and did so again today (August 15) using the numbers shown on each group page.
I've ranked the groups based on largest decline in members. If you live, eat and breathe inside LinkedIn, you'll either be surprised or feel vindicated. . .

7 年I've noticed a distinct reduction in the quality (and in some cases, quantity) of posts in my groups. There are a couple that are still worth visiting every couple of days, but most are pretty dead.

7 年And here I was disappointed in the slowed growth rate for the 350,000-member Medical Devices Group. This data suggests I can feel good about having no declines!

7 年Every since LinkedIn redid the UI for groups I have quit participating for the most part as it is too cumbersome to navigate. I use to be big on LinkedIn Group Marketing etc but now I feel like its not worth the effort, I join groups so I can get connections to people in my industry.
