1) Being the “go-to” person for EVERYTHING

Being the “go-to” person for EVERYTHING is a useless job you have created for yourself because you love to feel needed and you’re frightened to be the leader you can be because you’re frightened of failing. Change this and you’ll win ???

2) Thinking a personal brand will help you

You know you need a personal brand so you keep following personal brand coaches looking for the answer and you’ve posted one or two posts on LinkedIn but you fail to see your personal brand IS YOUR BEHAVIOUR.

I know it's not your fault and you're probably not aware yet....that this is your problem.

Everyone sees you as the “go-to” person for EVERYTHING and you wonder why you have to beg your boss for more recognition and watch the men around you get the juicy projects and big pay packets to match. Forget creating a personal brand instead shift your identity to match the high value needs of your boss and ideal Hiring Managers. This makes getting the recognition, promotion, juicy projects and pay increases effortless.

3) Not knowing how to describe your experience to match your ideal Hiring Managers highest value needs

You’ve thought about going externally to get a new leaders job but you can’t see how you will get through the interviews and convince someone to offer you your dream job if you can’t even convince your boss and the people who’ve known you for years to give you the recognition you know you deserve.

When you shift how you describe the work you do to match the authority level of the roles you’re applying for you’ll get your ideal Hiring Manager’s to take you seriously. You can’t see this but you’re describing yourself in basic CV speak and in some places you’re even sounding like a graduate. Sounds harsh but I see this on EVERY CV & Linkedin Profile I review for women going for "Head Of", "Director", "VP" and "C-Suite" jobs. You're leaking status, authority and value so this means the job market is controlling you instead of the other way around.

Recruiters are scrolling by your applications going straight in the “no” pile. You’re repelling Headhunters.? This doesn’t map to the leadership and strategic capabilities that your ideal Hiring Manager’s are willing to pay ￡6Figure and Multi-￡6Figures for so you are applying and hearing zero back.?Or you’re interviewing for jobs you don’t really want or are getting pipped to the post.

If you was to shift the specific way you position your expertise and pitch to the specific highest value needs of your ideal Hiring Managers which is about 10 degrees to the left of what you are currently saying you could have Headhunters and Recruiters in your DMs and a diary of interviews as fast as next week. You’ll shift from trying to convince your ideal Hiring Managers to choose you in your interview to sharing specific facts about the work you do that sky rockets their confidence about you and makes you the obvious choice for their new high-paying leader job offer.

These ?? shifts are subtle and can be done fast. Your shift in your own confidence will increase as you'll see clearly what's been holding you back. Even better your results will be insane.?
