YouGov’s ESG Leadership: Proud of Our Commitment to Sustainability, Diversity, and Ethical Practices

I am thrilled to share the highlights from YouGov’s recently published ESG Report for 2024. As someone deeply invested in ESG values, I am incredibly proud of the strides the company has and is making on this front. If we help our clients learn more about these topics, it's only right that we do a lot ourselves.
Our Roadmap to Sustainability
YouGov has a ESG Roadmap, designed to evolve with our growth and changing stakeholder expectations. We have set ambitious targets to achieve net zero emissions by 2050, with interim targets for 2030. These targets have been submitted to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for verification. Our Climate Transition Plan includes responsible energy use, waste management, and carbon offsetting.
Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) are at the heart of our corporate culture. We've made significant strides in creating an inclusive workplace that values diverse perspectives and backgrounds. D&I initiatives are supported by a dedicated team and six D&I Networks that promote engagement and inclusivity across the organization. Our efforts have not gone unnoticed, with YouGov being shortlisted for several awards, including the Diversity Champion Award at the AIM Awards 2023.
Ethical and Responsible Business Practices
Transparency and trust are core principles of our ESG approach. We prioritize data privacy and security, ensuring that personal data is handled responsibly and in compliance with global standards like the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Everyone has to go through mandatory training each year.
We are also establishing a management-level Sustainability Committee to ensure that sustainability priorities are reflected in our culture and operations.
