Are You Zoned Out When You Play Golf?

Our natural state of consciousness is one in which serenity, peace, love, productivity, and happiness prevail. Today we refer to this state as The Zone. Unfortunately, very few people ever experience this state and when they do, they do so accidentally and then for only short periods of time.
In today's hectic, high-powered, pressure-filled society, stress, hypertension, and loss of productivity and performance abound. A variety of factors contribute to this state of dis-ease, including unintentional programming, lack of training, an exaggerated focus on outcome instead of process, and uncontrolled thoughts and emotions. Golfers become involved in the game, already infected by these factors. Add to this poor physical training techniques, improper nutrition, insufficient water consumption, and lack of decent physical conditioning. Is it any wonder very few golfers ever develop any consistent skill??
Do you want to learn how to access The Zone on demand?? Remember, The Zone is nothing more than a well-developed Selective Attention process – the ability to focus on a single stimulus while disregarding all other potentially distracting internal and external stimuli.? Because we rarely, if ever create a single-mindedness in our attention, this ability needs to be trained.?
