Are You in Your Second Act?
Windy Borman

I realized something important: I'm in my Second Act.
I'm not a cishet, middle-aged, white guy, so "Mid-Life Crisis" doesn't seem appropriate.
But as a storyteller, I know the Second Act is where the good stuff happens.
To refresh your memory, the Three-Act Story Structure is a narrative arc composed of three (3) acts forming the beginning, middle, and end of a film, play, or novel.
In my case, I realized what I was doing before doesn't serve me anymore. I'm tired of pushing a boulder up a mountain; I want to be in the creative flow.
Can you relate?
Instead of focusing on titles I want to be, I'm focusing on verbs I enjoy doing:
?? Storytelling
?? Producing
?? Directing
?? Teaching
?? Healing
In order to make room for what I enjoy, I need to let some things go. And changing my online content is part of that.
I’m rolling out the changes on LinkedIn first, so if you’re curious to see how my Act 2 begins, connect with me on LinkedIn.
What does your Second Act look like? Let me know in the comments or send me a DM.
Love it
