YOU are your BUSINESS and BRAND.

YOU are your BUSINESS and your BRAND.
You need to start thinking of your business and your brand as something that represents you, a person. You also need to start considering the other brands and business are also people.
Because the bottom line is...people make decisions, not businesses.
In order for people to buy from you, they need to believe:
- You are credible.
- You can help them.
- They can get the result, if they work with you.
But if YOU don't believe in these things, how can you expect them to?
If there's a gap, for you, in these beliefs... then it's time to invest in yourself and believe in yourself. Believe that you can do it.
Some people will be scared. They don't really know what they want, so you have to drive them to the next step. If you just wait for people to step up themselves, they won't do it. If they could do it on their own, they would have already.
That's why they need you to guide them and take them to the next step and get them to ask questions. Getting them to ask questions, implies that they are growing in some way... and they need to grow to ultimately get what they want (or reach their goal).
My job is not to hold you accountable.
My job is to hold you to a higher standard. But you also have to hold yourself to that higher standard. If you're not getting the result, you're not stretching, or you're not showing up, or both.
If you want to make more money, you have to be willing to do more money-making activities.
This doesn't mean to JUST WORK HARDER. It means that you have to be open to changing/shifting/tweaking/optimizing what you're already doing.
It means ALWAYS inviting people to something. If you're having conversations with people, and not inviting them to something (some sort of a next step) then you're not only leaving money on the table... you're robbing that person of the opportunity to get your help.
If you're inviting people to something, even if you suck at it, you'll get more opportunities than ever before. You just need to ASK.
Hard work is frustrating especially when you do things you’re not comfortable with.
Hard work can & will (eventually) take you very far, but it won't take you to the finish line.
Hard work (IE: 80+ hr/week) will almost always lead to burn out.
You can keep going, sure, but at what cost? Working hard, sacrificing yourself, sacrificing your health, sacrificing time with your family and causing overwhelm and stress in your life... isn't sustainable for anyone. It's important that you don't think that the only way to get results is from just working hard.
Figure out how you can work less and work smarter, but part of that has to be incorporating some level of taking care of yourself.
Don’t feel guilty about taking care of yourself. Taking care of yourself ensures that when you get to the office, you actually get more things done in a fraction of the time.
