Are you your best version?
It is possible that from time to time, at work or at school, we feel distressed, stressed, pressured or even threatened. The reason is usually fear, of the environment, of our boss, of competition from other people, of the impossibility of achieving objectives, of not liking others, of criticism, of failure, of unemployment... It is YOU who we put pressure on ourselves and allow the environment to exert that imaginary pressure that undoubtedly conditions our behavior and the way we relate to others. We can go to work every day with anxiety and stress, as inoperative victims of what happens to us (or what will seem to happen to us), or we can do it installed in confidence, in the desire to face, choosing the course of events, without criticisms or complaints, solely oriented towards the achievement of established objectives, good intentions and responsibility, without events that we do not control - which exist and will exist - alter our behavior excessively. We have to know how to differentiate between those events that depend on us and those that we cannot control no matter how hard we try.
Our mind tends to worry if we do not force it in other directions. If we pay attention to the present moment, to what is happening now and here, we will reduce the feeling of stress, anxiety or fear, gaining energy to manage what occupies us at this very moment, because we will not be wasting it worrying uselessly about what may happen, whether I will be able to achieve the objective or what others will say about me. The more you think about what scares you, the more strength you will give it.
In all areas of life we will find people who live based on systematic complaints/criticism, others with low self-esteem who constantly need to draw attention, or those authentic projectors of negativity who tend to live poorly/survive in a passive position dependent on the outside fed by fears. On the other hand, surely we will also be able to identify those people or co-workers who live from the inside, those who exude love, generosity and unconditional positivity, from solid internal and personal values, without fear. Their behavior is usually guided solely by the predisposition to an internal attitude that they have chosen, regardless of external phenomena. Highly recommended to be close to them.
We spend the day talking to ourselves. We relay to each other what happens, what has happened and above all, what could happen.
Do you take care of your inner language? How do you talk to yourself? What tone do you use?

Hours and hours talking to each other, even without realizing it... If we do not take care of the language with which we speak, it can configure a totally unreal environment for us, deforming reality, falsifying our perception of what may be happening around us and conditioning our behavior. We cannot control the environment, but internal language is our responsibility and no one else's. How do you tell your life? Do you do it positively, whatever you do, no matter what, win or lose? Or do you prefer to do it as a chain of failures and misfortunes, where there are always culprits, complaints, criticisms and reproaches? Anarchic, contradictory thoughts, feelings of fear, terror or panic. We can live enslaved and conditioned by our mind if we do not decide to make changes. We have to be active with her and not let her use us, manipulate us. We cannot allow our anxieties to guide our behavior. We can calm these thoughts by focusing on the present moment, on what we are doing now and here. Is it really necessary to worry constantly and often for no reason? How many problems and misfortunes will we have removed without them ever happening? How many worries have we fed by allocating totally dispensable energy to them? And from the past? Worrying about the past is useless, it no longer exists. Dale Carnegie called it “sawing through sawdust.” We can only learn from the past and apologize if we have caused any harm, nothing more. Living in the past weakens us.
It is possible to manage our thoughts better, we just have to practice and make it an unavoidable daily task, change those thoughts and guide them towards where we want them to travel. Repetition and practice will install new patterns of thought, a new version. We are the owners of these thoughts and no one else is responsible for them.
If your version does not convince you, you can always change it; train, practice and improve. In your hand is the best version you could wish for.
