YOU! YES ITS YOU!!!

Daily, we make efforts towards the achievement of our goals whether they are written or not. These goals are both individual and corporate. For many people it is just to be able to relax and be taken care of, for some it is more specific like ‘financial freedom’, or business profitability. Achieving any of these goals is a journey with a lot of ups and downs.

On this dream achievement journey, especially for those dreams close to our hearts, many people will be ready to do whatever it takes as long as the result is the dream goal. On this dream journey, we will be forced to change direction sometimes, change our thinking sometimes, friends will come and go, even family will come and go. Sometimes we will lose all we have and sometimes we will put all we have into achieving our dreams irrespective of the life point you are presently as the earlier you achieve this dream, the better you are for it.

Often, many people in and around us will be the leverage that will move us into the next level of achieving our dreams or be the wedge keeping us from achieving our dreams. These people often called dream killers are the reasons why many will turn to God and pray like their life had no other option while others will turn to every other mode, be it physical, occultic, religious or devilish to ensure these demon-humans are removed from their dream path. None of this in the literal sense is a bad thing. The issue is the fact that another human being is ready to take out another human being just to achieve a dream they will enjoy only for a while and move on again. That human being they were or are ready to erase is a mother, father, brother, sister, uncle, friend, etc. to someone else and is making that person’s life a dream come true. That person they want to erase has his/her own dreams they are trying to achieve also. That person they want to have sacked has a value to add to life that may sometimes make your life and that of your generations better, but you are so selfish and greedy that all your interest is about you alone, not your neighbors, family, colleagues, or friends.

The interesting issue in all of this is that the greatest impediment to achieving your life dreams is you. Yes, you and no one else. It starts from inside you. Let’s try to analyze it

You blame your friends for influencing you negatively, but in life you attract your kind, so if you don’t know it those friends you are blaming reflect you, all the sides of you and a greater number of friends representing the negative side of you. So, is it really their fault or simply that you have not improved on yourself? If you improve on yourself to a more positive personality, your negative friends will only fall off naturally as you don’t have anything in common anymore.

Some blame their colleagues for giving them ‘gossip’ they believed and acted on it, was it really their fault? Or you that happily swallowed the gossip?

Some blame their background, but your background is in the past and you are moving away from it whether you take any action or not, the only reason it is still trailing you is because you are still carrying it with you, drop it please and move on. Your dreams are in your future in front of you, stop looking back, look forward and achieve more.

Some blame their parents. Am sorry but your parents are in your past too.

Some blame their skin color; I never knew when skin color was an example of being disabled. Even many disabled people are exceeding their dreams so what’s your excuse except the fact that you have refused to own up to the fact that you are the one that is the clog in the wheel of progress of project YOU.

Others blame their finances, but your financial situation is still as defined by you. Some say its lack of education, many great men, and women I know of did not achieve greatness by education.

When they say it takes just one person to change the world, it was you they were referring to. You need to change your view of life and stop looking for who to blame for your mishaps and start looking for who to add value to instead. Every time you add value to a person, you create a ripple effect that goes round changing the world.

Improve on yourself, improve on your thoughts, improve on your mind and your environment will change, your friends will change, your finances will change, even your enemies will change.

Look for how to add value to life generally from who you are, what you have become or where you are going to, and life too will change to help you achieve your dreams. You can’t save everyone, but you can save that person right next to you (not destroy the person). There is nothing that is not enough for you but there will always be enough to share. Life is a long journey, stop treating it like a one-hundred-meter dash.

As a business leader, your business can never be better than you. Your business is a reflection of your person, the bigger you become the bigger your business, the bigger your mind the bigger the business. Same rule applies for leaders in every sphere, your best will not be enough because there is more in you, keep at it.

Today there are about eight billion people on earth but not one is like you, stop destroying other just to show you are special, be more collaborative than competitive, lead humanely objectively.

Your life is a bottle that will only be filled with what YOU put inside it and when you are turned upside down, which will be often, its what you put in that will come out not what others put in it, only what you allowed in.

This is only for those that have dreams, aspirations, goals, and a life to live, if you don’t have this, then that is your first assignment because that is what represents your humanity.

I wish you a wonderful life of achieving beyond your dreams and goals, but remember, it takes you and no one else. No one will keep you from becoming who you were meant to be or getting to where you were meant to be but YOU. STOP LOOKING OUTSIDE AND LOOK WITHIN.

I suggest your admonition to LOOK WITHIN means change your perspective of life, have a positive mindset because our physical experiences is a reflection of our mental world. I am a testimony to the fact that dreams do come through by the help of God and commitment to a life of continues improvement. Thanks for sharing
